Welcome from the Vicar

Thank you for visiting St Luke's and St Mary's online. I hope you will get some idea of our services and activities by browsing here. But the church is much more than a website! Churches are places where we meet with God and with people.

The weeks after Easter are the most special time of year for Christians. We rejoice that Jesus Christ did not just defeat all the powers of evil and death by dying on a cross (as we remembered on Good Friday). He also was raised from the dead on the first Easter Day, and Christians believe that he is with us now through his Holy Spirit living in us. 

My colleague Rob and I look forward to meeting you in person when you come to one of our services or special events.
