Welcome from the Vicar

Thank you for visiting St Luke's and St Mary's online. I hope you will get some idea of our services and activities by browsing here. But the church is much more than a website! Churches are places where we meet with God and with people.

My colleague Rob and I look forward to meeting you in person when you come to one of our services or special events.

This will be my last time editing this website. I will be retiring from fulltime ordained ministry next month. Carol and I invite everyone in Morton and Riddlesden to my “Retirement Do” on Saturday 13th July at 6.30pm in St Luke’s Church (food provided, bring some drink) and/or to my Leaving Service on Sunday 14th July which will be a joint service of Holy Communion at 10am in St Mary’s Church.

It has been a huge privilege being Vicar of Morton and Riddlesden for the last 7 years. Thank you so much for your support, love and prayers.
