Children & Families

Children & Families

Children and young people are very important to us. Jesus said: ‘Let the children come to me. Do not stop them.’ We thank God for all the children and young people we have contact with, from the youngest baby to the oldest teenager. We welcome them to our Sunday services, and love to see them being involved and helping out in whatever way they can. Don't worry about them making a noise during church services! The adults in church would much rather hear children enjoying themselves in worship than not have any children at all!

You will find out more about our provision for children and young people on these webpages. If you are interested in Baptism/Christening or Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child see the Baptism page.

Family Service

We run our family services usually on the first Sunday of every month at both St Luke's and St Mary's. For more information each month see the list of Sunday Services on our Home Page

Baby & Toddler Group

We meet during term time on a Thursdays from 9.30 -11.00am in St Mary's Meeting Room.

There is a small charge of £1 per adult which goes towards covering the cost of materials and refreshments.

At each session there is a weekly craft activity for children to take part in and refreshments are served for both children and adults, including tea or coffee for the adults.

We look forward to welcoming you to our group.

We run it one Thursday a month at St Luke's Church (3.30-5pm) and one Thursday a month at Riddlesden St Mary's Primary School in the school hall  (3.15-4.45pm). This month (March) we will be doing Messy Church on Thursday 14th March at St Luke's Church and Thursday 21st March at Riddlesden St Mary's Primary School. We will also be holding a special Messy Church on Good Friday (29th March) at St Mary's Meeting Room, Banks Lane, Riddlesden from 10-12. To book please text or email Revd Rob or Revd Tony

Come and join us as we hear stories from the bible, sing songs, pray together and complete exciting craft activities.  We even finish each session by eating tea together (lunch on Good Friday!).
