Both Revd Tony Walker and Revd Rob Savage are available to take funeral services either in St Luke’s or St Mary’s Churches or at any of the local crematorium or cemetery chapels. Funerals may also be taken by our licensed lay ministers Ruth Copping and Cathy Thornton.
You don’t have to be a regular churchgoer or even a resident of the parishes of Morton or Riddlesden to have a funeral service in church. We know how difficult and distressing it is when a loved one dies, so we always want to support those who have been bereaved, and we will work with you to ensure that your loved one gets the most appropriate funeral service in accordance with your wishes.
The cost of a funeral taken by a Church of England minister (ordained or lay) is largely determined by the Church of England nationally – which means that there is very little difference between churches.
